From its early beginnings in the town's Old County Hall and former Gaol, Taylor-Woods became a global success story, employing over one thousand people - its hosiery and lingerie in demand world-wide.
The story of Taylor-Woods is told through the reminiscences and photographs of former employees, Linkers, Knitters, Fixers and Machinists have contributed memories of their working life on the production line, as well as work outings and the annual Miss Taylor-Woods competition.
